Impact studies: professionals, volunteers, staff
Alongside our Impact Reviews and parent stories, we want to showcase how our services are developed, accessed and appreciated by our users, volunteers and ARC staff. We hope that sharing these experiences helps you understand what we do and who we help, as well as helping us develop our services to become more accessible and equitable for all those affected by antenatal screening outcomes.
If you would like to contribute your own impact study, please get in touch: info@arc-uk.org.
We also routinely gather feedback from professionals benefitting from our training, case cafes, helpline, resources and conferences. We publish some of these in our annual Impact Reviews, including Barbara and Gillian, Childbirth and Loss Midwives at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust in 2023:
“Since the introduction of ARC in Northern Ireland as healthcare professionals we are able to guide families to access peer support. This helps to reduce their sense of isolation and provides a safe space for families to share their experiences. ARC helps to break down the stigma that exists around TFMR in Northern Ireland. The availability of this specialised support is an invaluable support for us to share with families.”
