ARC Online Conference 2025

Improving equity in antenatal testing and its consequences across the UK.

The second of ARC’s online conferences explored what we can all do to help ensure equity of care for parents through antenatal screening and its consequences.

The conference was attended by 202 healthcare professionals – a slight increase from 2023. Holding our conference online every second year ensures that we can inclusively attract attendees from all four nations.

Placing those we help at the heart of each discussion, we wanted attendees to consider how best to work together to ensure consistent individualised care for all, wherever they are and whatever their background. Following Jane’s introduction, each talk focussed on differing elements of antenatal care in the context of a very diverse population. The ten talks included topics such as progress in Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England, as well as speakers who explored specialist support, research and policy.

Our 2026 conference for healthcare professionals will take place on 25 September in Central London.
