ARC online training

This 1-hour session for students will focus on how to deliver high-quality care through antenatal screening, testing and diagnosis. We will discuss strategies for communicating unexpected and difficult news, such as a high chance screening result, how to best support parents’ decision-making and how Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) can help support you in your work. The session is free to attend, but we kindly ask those who can to contribute to our work by making a small donation to help us fund our work.

Caring for parents through prenatal diagnosis, what do you find most challenging?

Inevitably dealing with distressed parents makes demands on us professionally and personally. At the November café you will have the chance to share what you find difficult when parents are facing the news that their baby is not developing as expected. You will have the chance to hear and learn from others and get ARC’s view.
