Charitable trusts and foundations
The support we receive from trusts and foundations is very important to us: impactful one-off grants and sustained multi-year funding ensures that we can develop our vital services.

Trusts and foundation grants
Charitable bodies whose interests align with ours play a key role in maintaining and growing our parent-led services.
Take a look at our current supporters who have donated to both our core costs and specific elements of our work.
The sensitivities and ethical debates around antenatal screening and its consequences mean that ARC’s cause doesn’t easily attract public or sustained grant funding. Yet the vast majority of our income goes directly to our helpline, forum and specialist bereavement support, as well as the ‘Sensitive Communications training’ we run for healthcare professionals and students.
We can tailor the type of support your trust is interested in, from a focussed project or contribution towards vital running costs. We provide a personal service, from tailored reporting and crediting to opportunities to meet our team and attend events.
ARC is a national charity, working across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales and we have a dedicated coordinator running projects in each country.
Depending on your objectives, your grant can be allocated nationally – core or project expenditure – or in a specific region; for example, you could ensure your local unit receives ARC publications or a professional training package.
We are hugely grateful for the generosity of our current charitable supporters.
