Publications for parents and family
ARC’s parents’ handbooks: ‘Supporting you Through Your Pregnancy’ and ‘Ending a Pregnancy after Prenatal Diagnosis’ describe some of the complex physical and emotional issues you may face after a prenatal diagnosis. If you haven’t received a copy of either from your hospital, ask us for a complimentary copy on 0207 713 7356 or email info@arc-uk.org. Our publication is available in print or as a PDF, we will automatically send you a printed copy unless you advise us otherwise.

National volunteer support network
Our national volunteer support network is made up of ARC members across the UK who have been trained by us to provide telephone support to anxious and bereaved parents.
Call 0207 713 7486 or email info@arc-uk.org for more information.
Support Meetings
As a small national charity, ARC is unfortunately unable to organise regular meetings across different areas of the UK. We previously held occasional regional support days each year, but attendance has declined.
It’s possible we may decide to organise occasional in-person events again in the future and if so, the best way to hear about these is to register with us and/or follow us on social media.
We now offer regular online events for people registered with ARC. Details are usually shared on our forum, website and social media pages.
Our next online event will be:
TFMR: Questions and Conversations, 21 October 2026
In order to book, you will need to be registered with ARC (you can check with us at info@arc-uk.org if you are not sure). Places are limited, so book your place today here.
