Apply for your London Marathon 2027 place with Team ARC!
2026’s London Marathon has just ended, and what a day! As the world’s largest annual fundraising event, the London Marathon is iconic – both as an inspirational route and an exciting opportunity to raise millions for charities like ARC.
The ballot for places has just opened, but it is very competitive. Another option is to apply for an ARC ‘Golden Bond’ place for LM27. Competition is still very high, but you can apply for these limited spaces alongside the ballot and increase your chances!
If you are successful, we will support you with access to fundraising merchandise and advice, a free vest or t-shirt and engagement with fellow Team ARC LM27 runners. ARC raises thousands of pounds from the London Marathon, and donations always go directly towards delivering and developing our services for parents.
How to apply to join Team ARC
To secure a place you would need to commit to paying a non-refundable registration fee of £50, and raising a minimum of £1,750 to help support ARC’s work.
Please complete our application form by July 6th 2026, and we will be in touch by mid July.
We’d recommend you tell us as much as possible about your circumstances, both as a runner and your potential to fundraise. You don’t have to have run a marathon before, but let us know:
- Your details – we can only accept runners who are 18 or over
- Your reason for applying, including any personal connections to ARC
- Your running experience and training plan
- Your commitment to fundraising (this could be sharing the fundraising page or engaging friends, family, running club friends or colleagues via bake sales, raffles or workplace events – more fundraising ideas here).
Whether you are lucky enough to secure a ballot, or an ARC charity place, we’d be thrilled to welcome you to LM27 Team ARC! But not to worry if you aren’t successful: we can secure places on marathons around the world, from Manchester and Edinburgh to Paris and further afield.
