Summer is the perfect time to get outdoors and do some fundraising for ARC!
If you are interested in fundraising for ARC there are lots of activities you could try, here are just a few ideas to get you started:
Why not hold an outdoor garden party for ARC this year? You can find all the information you need to hold your party here. Or, you could make it a Pimms party and serve your guests cocktails instead! You could even think about hosting an outdoor cook-off and asking friends to pay to join in to decide who is the Chilli Champion or the best at barbecue!
Finally, how about hosting a lemonade stand and selling homemade lemonade? If your local area holds a yearly fete or fair, you could even get in touch with the organisers about having a stand there to help raise awareness of ARC even further!
Taking part in a challenge event like a sponsored swim, run or cycle is a great way to get outdoors, and have fun in the sunshine (British weather permitting, of course!). ARC have places in both the Virgin Money London Marathon and the RideLondon 100 cycle event. Contact the office to find out how to register for a place. Or, you can use websites such as The Running Bug or Runner’s World to find events in your local area.
If you’d like to do a sponsored walk, you needn’t join an organised event – just pick your favourite route and go! ARC can send you sponsorship forms to help you collect donations.
Hold a picnic or BBQ in the park for ARC and ask your friends to donate to attend and enjoy a great day out while helping to support ARC!
These are only some of the fantastic things you can do this year to raise money for ARC. If you have an idea of your own, then please feel free to contact the office on 0207 713 7356 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to see how we can help you with your event.
