ARC is a small charity, working in a field which does not easily attract funding, so the efforts of our fundraisers are vital to provide the resources we need to be able to continue to give information and support to parents.
Over half of our income comes from donations and fundraising - we depend on you so that parents can depend on us. By becoming an ARC fundraiser, you will ensure that parents are always able to turn to ARC for impartial support and information when they are told there are difficulties in their pregnancy.
Team Fletcher took part in multiple fundraising events, including a half marathon, charity football match, and the Three Peaks hike. Collectively they raised almost £3000 for ARC, which is an amazing achievement. They also did a great job raising awareness of the work we do.
Matt swam the entire English Channel in 12 hours and 49 minutes. He battled through swarms of Jellyfish, and raised over £2500 for ARC. We can't thank him enough for his dedication.
Belinda organised and performed in 2 amazing charity folk gigs during July 2018, and raised just under £1500. The ARC team were there for support her during the London concert, and all thouroughly enjoyed it.
Brothers Luke, Sam and John walked across Devon on the Two Moors Way during August 2018 to raise money for ARC. They had an initial target of £500, and managed to raise over £3350 in just over 2 months.
On our 30th Anniversary year, our Virgin Money London Marathon runners did a fantastic job at fundraising for ARC. This year, we had 9 runners taking part in the hottest London Marathon on record. Jenni, Garth, Charlotte, Jason, Jack, Louisa, Rachel, Sarah and Roger all did a fantastic job under the gruelling conditions. The overall total raised has surpassed £22,000, our biggest total for years!
You can see who is currently fundraising for us through our Charity Checkout page. Why not take a look at some of our fundraisers and their stories behind why they are fundraising for us.

Though ARC is a very small charity, it supports parents and healthcare professionals throughout the UK. As well as giving non-directive information about antenatal screening, we are unique in providing a specialised range of support resources, which are a lifeline for those with an affected pregnancy.
When a pregnancy goes well, there are lots of resources and support services for expectant parents. However, when there are problems in a pregnancy, it becomes very difficult for parents to know where they can find unbiased information and support. While many hospitals do know about ARC, and pass on our information to parents who are facing problems, we want to ensure that all parents are given our details when they need them.
As well as making one-off and regular donations online, you can also set up your own fundraising event page in aid of ARC.
