If you would like more information about the group or would like to join please email ARC. N.B. ARC's email support groups are moderated to protect the privacy of those who subscribe. To access this service you will need to be a member of ARC. Membership is free.
Many parents tell us that they find comfort and recognition in meeting other ARC members and so one of the ways ARC offers support is by organising meetings in different areas. For some it is enough to see, and be with, people who have had a similar experience and who understand some of the emotions they may be feeling. For details of the next meeting please Contact ARC.
ARC's Support Network Members are parents who have had a termination due to fetal abnormality and are now trained to support others. Sometimes the Member's own parents or in-laws express an interest in helping others as "Grandparent Support Network Members". This is always welcome as ARC's aim is to provide support that reflects a wide variety of experiences, locations, cultures and generations. If you are interested in helping other parents in distress, or if you would like to know more Contact ARC. |
