ARC depends on the valuable fundraising efforts and donations of supporters.
- You can help sustain ARC’s core services - the helpline, newsletters, information booklets, parents’ groups and health professional training.
- You can help us in the research, creation and development of new projects.
People from all walks of life have found wonderful and fun ways of supporting us. It doesn’t matter whether you raise a tenner or thousands – every penny makes a real difference!
2008 is ARC's 20th anniversary - help raise our profile and our funds
- £10 - pays for an information and support pack for a bereaved or expectant parent
- £20 - pays for the website for a day – an essential aid for parents and health professionals
- £30 - will ensure ARC 10 Handbooks go to a hospital to be available to parents on hearing bad news
- £50 - will give training to a volunteer to provide local support to bereaved and anxious parents
- £100 - will pay for the upkeep of the helpline for one day – often the first point of call for a distressed parent
- £450 - will pay for the postage for a mail-out of our Newsletter to 4000 bereaved parents
- £1000 - will pay for a full day's training for midwives and doctors to provide better care for parents
How you can help
By supporting ARC, you will help ensure expectant and bereaved parents and their families can get impartial, informed and non-directive support in difficult circumstances.
Support for ARC can come in a variety of ways. As a small charity you can be sure that your contribution goes directly to those who need it. You can make a difference – and there are many ways to do this.

- You can purchase ARC Christmas Cards
- Take part in Fundraising Events including marathons
- Organise your own special occasion or fundraising event
- Offer non-financial help and volunteer your expertise to promote our work
Don’t forget that if you are taxpayer, you can gift aid your donation. This means that for every pound you give we will receive an extra 28 pence from the taxman – at no extra cost to you.
