The NHS Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme (FASP) is funded by the Department of Health to produce evidence based policies, standards, guidance and resources for all NHS hospital Trusts that provide an antenatal obstetric screening service for pregnant women in England.
In line with the UK NSC triennial review process and as part of the on-going work of NHS FASP, a review and revision of the ‘18+0 to 20+6 weeks fetal anomaly scan: National standards and guidance for England’ (2010) publication, will start in 2012.
NHS FASP is to undertake a review of the ‘National standards’ document which provides ‘best practice’ standards and guidance for staff working in obstetric sonography departments around the mid-trimester fetal anomaly scan.
You are invited to comment on the document during a 4 week consultation via the NHS FASP website. This consultation will take place from Monday 2nd April to Monday 30th April 2012. If yo are interested in commenting on the review, visit the NHS FASP website.
