ARC Forum for Bereaved Parents

The ARC Forum has been set up to provide a safe place for ARC members to make contact with other bereaved parents who have lost a baby following a prenatal diagnosis.

The Forum aims to provide a space where experiences and feelings can be shared and acknowledged, in order to provide support and lessen the sense of isolation that many parents feel.

There are currently three separate groups within the forum -  two for parents who have ended a pregnancy (one for women and one for men), and one for bereaved parents who continued a pregnancy with a poor prognosis.

You must be an ARC member to be signed up to the Forum. Membership is free to residents of the UK (although donations are very welcome) and all that is required is your name, your full postal address, and a brief description of your experience. If you prefer not to enter these details via our website, you can send them directly to info@arc-uk.org or call the ARC office on 0207 713 7356.

In addition to having access to the Forum, ARC members can also join our mailing list, and receive our newsletter for bereaved parents and invitations to meetings and events.

If you live outside the UK, you can join ARC and the Forum for an annual fee of £15 (Europe) or £25 (rest of the world).

Continue to the ARC Forum.

NB: we do not have forums for expectant parents who have been given a worrying result or diagnosis, and/or who are making decisions about screening and diagnostic tests or the future of their pregnancy. If you are in this situation and need information and support, please contact ARC by email at info@arc-uk.org or via the ARC Helpline on 0845 077 2290.
